2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC

The Mercedes GLC sets benchmarks for ride, handling, safety technology, comfort and off-road capabilities. Joining the Mercedes-Benz GLC300 in the 2017 model year is the new Mercedes-AMG GLC43, boasting an AMG-enhanced engine.

Auto enthusiasts the world over instantly recognize the three letters AMG as defining Mercedes-Benz performance. Many also recognize that 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of this performance division, which began as an independent tuner and racer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The midsize SUV model series gains a particularly dynamic addition in the form of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC43. The 362-hp AMG-enhanced 3.0L V6 biturbo engine, AMG-enhanced 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with shortened shift times and AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive configured with a rear bias form the basis for an especially dynamic on-road driving experience.

Standard on the GLC300 is a turbocharged 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine teamed to a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission for V6-level performance but with better fuel efficiency. The GLC offers 4MATIC all-wheel drive for outstanding agility and traction on a variety of road surfaces.

The GLC has short overhangs, an upright twin-louver grille with a centrally positioned star and striking headlight design with optionally available LED headlamps. Front and rear bumpers are optimized for off-road use with a 28-degree angle of approach/departure for all variants.

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers an extensive range of options for personalization, including a choice of nine standard and metallic paint finishes. The Sport Package comes with 19-inch wheels, twin louvers within the front grille with chrome inserts, AMG bumpers with a chrome-plated underguard, dual chrome- plated tailpipes, polished aluminum trim and roof rails in anodized aluminum.
